Starling is quite possibly the sweetest doe I've ever had the privilege to own. In spite of being the "Old Lady" of the herd, she is the uncontested Herd Queen (with sister Fancy Rose *M as second in command). Even bigger, younger, more powerful does would not DARE challenge Starling in her reign. I love her dearly. Personality aside, Starling is gorgeous. Freight-train long, a neck like a giraffe, and the flattest rump in the herd (both from hips to pins and from thurl to thurl). Starling easily earned her Milk Star on ADGA One Day Milk Test following her 2014 freshening. I am pleased to own 5 daughters and a son in our herd (please see Tennessee, Confederate Rose, Lark, Magpie, Chickadee, and Bard), and plan to retain ALL future doe kids and another buck in the future. Starling has 2 daughters in the Flat Rock herd as well (Flat Rocks Princess Celestia -full sister to our Conf. Rose, and Susurrare Salix Wandering Rose - littermate to our Lark).
